Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery - the resting place of more than 1,800 martyrs and the mass graves of martyrs who died in the fight to protect the northern border of the Fatherland.

At Vi Xuyen National Martyrs Cemetery, in Vi Xuyen town, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province; The temple worships the heroic martyrs of the Vi Xuyen front in Nam Ngat village, Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province. In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, Mr. Nguyen Chi Linh, Chairman of the Board of Directors - General Director and Mr. Nguyen Hong Hai, Head of the Project Committee and the delegation respectfully bowed and offered incense to commemorate their great contributions the heroic martyrs fought on every trench, every high point to firmly protect the sacred land on the Fatherland's border, dedicating their entire youth and lives for every inch of land on the border, protecting the integrity of the Fatherland is the pride of the Vietnamese people.

Vi Xuyen Martyrs Cemetery, started construction in 1990, is the resting place of 1,863 martyrs and a mass grave. This place became the "common home" of the martyrs who heroically fought and sacrificed their lives in the war to protect the Northern border at the Vi Xuyen and Ha Giang fronts during the period (1979 - 1989) and the martyrs of 32 provinces from Binh Tri Thien outward. Among them, there are many graves whose information, names, and hometowns have not yet been identified, and there are still many officers and soldiers who died in the war to protect the Northern border that have not yet been found and brought to rest with their comrades team at Vi Xuyen Martyrs Cemetery. The tombstones are lined up one after another, in neat layers, a formation to show that they are comrades who always stand side by side, forever together, forever in their twenties so that the country's fortune will grow stronger, sacred.

​In that battle, the heroic martyrs fought heroically, defending every inch of the Fatherland's sacred land with the will of "Not one inch to move, not one inch to move", determined to hold on to every hill, cliff, high score with the brave spirit "Living by the rock to fight the enemy, death turned to stone and immortality".

The Temple of Martyrs of the Vi Xuyen Front was built on an area of more than 1,100 square meters, in Nam Ngat village, Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district. The temple includes a memorial house, a path leading to the stele house, a ceremony house and a number of other auxiliary works. Every year, on the death anniversary of July 12 and the Day of War Invalids and Martyrs on July 27, the temple attracts a large number of relatives of martyrs and veterans to come and offer incense to commemorate the fallen heroes.
